Your account

TODO: To use TeaKin you sign in with your email address and a code we send you. Your account holds your email address, your name and emoji, your passport entries (tea, date, place, ratings, notes) and your lists (want to try, want to visit, visited). We use this only to run your account. Only you can see your passport and profile.

TODO: The account is stored with Supabase (Supabase Inc., USA) in its Frankfurt data centre, under a data processing agreement. Supabase also keeps technical logs, including IP addresses. Transfer safeguards: check against the current Supabase agreement.

TODO: As the operator, Nik can technically see what is stored. We only look at totals, such as how many testers have saved an entry, never at what you wrote.

TODO: Your data is kept until you delete your account. You can export your passport at any time (Passport → Export) and delete your account with everything in it (Profile → Delete account). You also have the right to access, correct and object, and to complain to a data protection authority.

Sign-in emails: Brevo

TODO: The emails with your sign-in code are sent by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which receives your email address for this.

Stored in your browser

TODO: Your browser keeps you signed in by storing a sign-in key (not a cookie). This is needed for the account to work. Signing out removes it.

Map tiles

TODO: OpenFreeMap (Hyperknot Software Kft., Hungary) serves the map tiles. Your browser requests them directly from tiles.openfreemap.org.

Forms: Tally

TODO: Feedback, place suggestions and gathering sign-ups use Tally forms (Tally BV, Belgium). They open on tally.so.
